Each week, one of the moderators or administrators selects an image that, for whatever reason, catches their eye. Please feel free to add your comments here. Vigorous discussion of the images and techniques is welcome and encouraged. Criticism of any mod for their choice is not. Please note that this is "Picture of the Week"; do not confuse that with "best picture of the week", which is a concept of which we have no understanding.

Again, many great pics but there can only be one. Why did I pick this photo? Two reason, one being that the photographer was in the right place at the right time. But more importantly the pic was treated in such a way as to date it in a way that tied everything together. The sepia tone in conjunction with the vignette added both balance and power to the subject. If anything negative can be said it must be the trainers worn by the person on the right and the ladies watch - but these are beyond the the photographers control. A hearty well done to Zafra52

Well constructed image Zafra, and congrats on POTW. Who says you always have to see someone's face?

You know, I can't help wishing they were walking towards the camera. Still great capture & PP.
