Toshiba 2Gb SD Card, resiliency of.
This morning, I opened up the drier and out fell one of my 2Gb Toshiba SD cards. Basically, I'd left it in my shirt pocket and it had gone through a 45minute coldwater wash, followed by a 150minute warm tumble-dry.
...and it still works! Both in my camera, and my card reader. All photos recovered. That's pretty surprising and unexpected Pentax istDS+K10D. Pentax 50mm f1.4, Sigma 10-20mm, Tamron 90mm f2.8 macro, Kit Lenses. http://www.redbubble.com/people/berndt2
