if you don't have a lot of pockets or you have to many and you can't find where you put your lens cap this may help

sorry to be a downer, but for about $2 you can have a cap keeper from most camera stores...sure they arnt as cool looking.

I do like those alternative designs!

Here's the take home hint of the day. Implementing it as a cap keeper is a piece of cake from here on in:

two holes drilled and a simple square knot in a short length of shock cord...
