Running HDMI from DSLR to projector - how to?

Postby haring on Wed Oct 14, 2020 2:03 am

How do you run HDMI from DSLR to projector?
I would like to project a wedding ceremony to a projector so guests can see it on a large 10 x 9 screen.
How should I run the signal? Hollyland 300?
Cable seems to be out of the question because I need to move the camera.
What transmitter should I use which I can attach to the camera?
Thanks!

Many cameras today include a WiFi connection built in. I've just bought a Canon RP which has both WiFi and Bluetooth.

There's a Canon app for your phone that connects to the camera, and you could then transmit that to a projector.

Canon also now has a webcam utility available. Connect that to a laptop or PC using a USB cable, and send that image to your projector. That's what I'm now using for my teams meetings at work, albeit without the projector.
