D300 Shooting Bank Settings

It didn't take long for those clever and generous people over at Nikonians to tweak the D200 spreadsheet to now cater for the D300.

You can find the zip file of version 1.0 of the spreadsheet as an attachment to the first post here: http://www.nikonians.org/dcforum/DCForumID202/26874.html

Enjoy.

EDIT: Obviously these are just one photographer's settings for the styles of shots he takes. I expect there'll be plenty of banks and settings that can be swapped around between D300 owners. Perhaps we could start a 'trading post' here for settings files?

Me too Marc - just gonna take me a while to get across its nuances.

If for no other reason, that spreadsheet is worth it just by having all the menu options laid out in front of you.

How many banks does the D300 have? Actually I can just google that so never mind. Why did I even bother posting this?

4 Shooting banks and 4 Custom Settings banks.

Definitely a case of "Which Bank?"

(Someone had to say it!)

Thanx for posting this, Simon. This will be more useful than the D200 ones, if only because it will represent the correct menu settings.

If you or others wish to dd their own versions of the spreadsheet, we can either add it on DSLRUsers webspace, or individuals can host it themselves, but I'm perfectly happy to move this thread into the Nikon section, and to make it a sticky so we can have that permanent link here.

Please let me know what you want to do.
