Stolen Olympus Gear

Unless they get too big for themselves, this is where you can talk about the "other" brands of DSLR's: Konica Minolta / Sony, Pentax / Samsung, Olympus, Horseman, etc.

Stolen Olympus Gear

Postby leek on Mon Jun 15, 2009 2:46 pm

A friend of mine had all of his Olympus kit stolen last night / early this morning from a car in Western Sydney.
It comprised the following:
Olympus E3, Olympus E510
14-42mm, 40-150mm, 70-300mm, 50mm f2, 35mm f3.5, 14-54mm, 12-60mm
FL36, FL50

If you hear of any Olympus kit being sold secondhand which looks similar to this list, please let me know, preferably by PM so I don't miss it and I'll pass the message on to him.

He's currently compiling all the serial numbers, but as he has just moved house they may take a little while to find.
Cheers, John

OUCH, that is not nice, I'll keep an eye out to see if anyone comes into work asking for trade in or sell off, but I would be looking at 2nd hand places and pawnbrokers as the most likely to catch the gear coming in.
