You don't need to Google - it's in the FIRST SECTION of the link huynhie posted!.... One of the major tributaries of the Nepean River, the Cataract River rises in the mountains along the escarpment above Wollongong and flows inward - north towards Appin, west towards Wilton, then north again to join the Nepean near Douglas Park.
As the name implies, it flows much of its course through deep cataracts and ravines...

They are more than welcome - the picnic day is all about sharing with the family If they have Nintendo DS's make sure they bring them - there are several children (and older!) that have them around these woods *** When getting there is half the fun! ***

It's an outdoor meet in conjuction with "our traditional pinic day".
It can hold more members than at the mini meet and no restriction.Birddog114

This meet and pinic are on one day, welcome both of you and the last meet reservations counted toward this pinic.
Due to my heavy busy in the coming months for both sides: here & in the US, so I don't know when will I have another mini meet at my base.Birddog114

We've been out of action for a while, what with one thing and another, and my mother-in-law is currently visiting, but this sounds like a great opportunity to finally get back to a meet. Count us in (Michael and I, plus two non-participants - mother-in-law and son).
Looking forward to details re time, anything we should bring (food to share or are we bringing our own?) etc.

Sorry if details are in an earlier post - I looked, but couldn't find one.

With 3 days to go, I was beginning to wonder the same thing...
 Where, When, What etc...
Thanh, Are you going to make a call on this???
Matt... If it is still on... and if it's just the 2 of you, we can probably give you a lift down there... Just let me know where you live and we'll sort out a time for pickup when the details are decided...

It's still on - not sure of the final arrangements though - I think we're just meeting there in the morning and seeing what happens.
It's really just a gathering as far as I know. Nothing special planned.

The park opens at 10am - I'm intending to be there by then.

Yes, definately bring your own food, etc.

 Guys
 Yes it's still on.
Just in case you haven't read the original thread where we discussed the location for this event, the idea is we will all be meeting at Cataract Dam and bringing our own food. As you can see from this link that Andrew posted earlier in the thread, and as Leon says, the Dam doesn't open until 10:00 am. I suggest we all meet at 10:30 am at the picnic grounds. We have some big D70Users.com banners we'll put up so you can find us even if you haven't met us face to face.

Matt, I've just been informed that mini-Leek needs to go to swimming lessons at 8:30am on Sat morning. I would therefore not be able to pick you up until about 9:45-10:00... Should get to Cataract by 11... Let me know if you need a lift...

 John,
Many thanks for the offer mate, but I think Sam and I are going to make a weekend of it and go down to Kiama after the meet. Plans are very much in the bosses hands at the mo but I'll graciously decline.
 Many thanks again John.Matt
