Minimeets occur at Birddog's place in SW Sydney... You can try out lots of different kit belonging to members and yes, we hang out too...
There's lots of stuff to photograph in BD's backyard and the company is pretty good too...
If you want to come along, then register your interest and BD will probably PM you his address...
We also have outings to various places to practice various types of photography, but these are not to be confused with the mini-meets.
 Welcome to the forum...

Not sure if I'll be there Birdy, depends if I decide to go out to the Eastern Creek early for A1GP supports. If the weather is as miserable as it is at the moment, I'll be chez vous though.

 Please meet my friend Tarotastic.
Though I'm not nearly as active as I once was, I'm still here in spirit and recommend the site when I can to those that I think would benefit. Tarotastic is part of a wicked little community we have in flickr. I told him that you guys would dig his photos (they're really good) and have these great mini-meets that I'm always jealous that I never get to go to.

One day soon, I'm going to Sydney, I'll see the infamous Birddog residence, check out all the goodies and toys, eat some wicked food with you all, and hopefully buy some wicked equipment to comemorate. One day...
