Grandkids (8 and counting) are great excuses to take photos. Just happened to stumble across a Sigma 105mm F1.4 behemoth and here's a few shots, SOOC. The lens is as sharp as the proverbial razor with magnificent background blur.

WOW! Professional quality children portraits that just jump off the screen. Great colours and background beautifully handled. Well done....these are lifetime keepers.

I am humbled after reading the comment from a sage like you Matt. Thanks!

(Unlike me and my ugly mug, my grandkids are very photogenic and it's hard not to get a few keepers whenever we do a shoot with them!).

You just triggered a memory of when I was very young. My grandfather, on my mother side, used to take me for walks in the public gardens, pushed my swing (he tied a rope to a tree branch in the back yard of his orchard, take me to fetch water sitting between the terracotta water jugs on a wooden push cart from the public fountain. Francisco, his name, has been gone for sixty years now, but those memories of his love and generosity still remain.

Mate Robyn and I am expecting our 8th grandchild any day now. (Little girl). I have no idea why I am so blessed in this old world but I am. And yes I have grand memories of my grandpa who died many years ago. He was my hero and still is to this day.
