I snapped this image at about 1900 (7pm) one evening last week off the coast of Hawaii. (Clock on the camera is wrong.)

It is a US DDG. (Arleigh Burke class)

Details. D2H and 80-200mm F2.8 - @200mm 1/640 and F7.1 ISO200.

Nice shot Steve - in my minds eye I see shafts of light coming down through the clouds to illuminate the warship
