Changed my resizing method. Think it makes a diff. Smoothing vs sharpening. Im using smoothing now. Enjoy and let me know what u think?

I thought you use smoothing when upsizing and sharpening when downsizing?

Did you do 'save for web'?

Adam - while I don't think it pays to be too dogmatic about things, I think the general rule that others have stated holds for your photos. I think they are too soft, and you lose some of the detail in the background. I would resize down with sharpening (and maybe even sharpen some more)

I also think the first is weak compositionally. The nice curve of the wading pool just doesn't seem to do much. Perhaps you could try stepping to the left and allowing the straight section to travel directly away from you.

Again the second one is a bit soft, and you could probably think a bit more about what it is that you want to highlight in this photo.

I dont know whats best? I find my images look good then resized they dont look as good. If I resize with sharpening they seem to look too sharp?
I dont use save for web.
