G'day again,

Last quickie from this morning's wanderings in Cambarville, which I might add was completed with a most magnificent "country breakfast" and mug of coffee at a cafe in Marsville to warm up etc. was most yummy

Anyway, similar view, let me know what you think of the light and the composition...

Compositionally, I like this one better than the other in your series. The whole picture seems much more balanced.

What I do find distracting are the 2 dark sides to the picture. It almost looks like 2 lines down either side. I'm not sure if you deliberately wanted this effect during your pp'ing / merging of the images. I'd be interested to compare the same image with a more even treatment across the image.

I don't mind the lighting in this. It keeps drawing me to the centre and looks brilliant! I wouldn't change a thing and just print it up and frame it.

The image works for me nicely. I think the dark parts on each side are nicely balanced, and I agree with PiroStitch that this pushes the eye to the centre of the photo. I'd like to see it hung as well.

I have a question regarding access to the falls...

Do you have to drive down a dirt road to get there? The reason I'm asking is that falls and rainforest shots are often best at the wetter times of year and I'd like to make my way up there soon. I don't have access to a 4WD though.

I know 'Lady Talbot Drive' in Marysville is dirt and after heavy rains could need a 4Wd to get down... how is Cora Lyn falls access?

Very nice shot, but fo me this 2 sides of photography will be more balanced, like previous antman comments. At the moment I feel unbalanced light in this picture.

like the dark mood to this.

G'day mate,

Lady Talbot takes you down to the other falls (which I think are Stephenson's Falls?), to get to these ones you stay on the main road, go past Lady Talbot Dv and about 15k's up the road, a couple of k's past "the big culvert", you'll come to a spot that has "bear prints" painted on the road surface that goes from your left (where there's a small parking area) yep, that's right, bear foot prints painted in white on the road, that go across the road. Follow the track/path until you reach a "T" in the path where there's a small sign... Turn right there, and it'll take you straight to the falls, only a short and very easy flat walk but a fantastic spot
