Seriously, I've thought about this design when seeing those diffusers like "flip-it", but this guy is really making some serious money out there.

He's good at selling things - it looks good (like a toilet!)

It looks so remarkably like a toilet. So much so that it would never go on my camera.

I disappointed - I watched that entire video and there wasn't even a working demo.

Looks like a steaming pile of *frrrrrrt* if you ask me. I was silly enough to buy a Lightsphere a couple of years ago. It was used religously for about a month until I realised I could achieve better results with a little bit of common sense.

Your productivity will decrease big time with this POS attached to your flash; you'll be too busy fending off all the "Why the f$%& do you have a toilet on top of your camera?" questions to take any photos!!!

thing is its not really a difusser its a spreader

agree, a spreader it is, which is ok if you have somehting to bounce off.

When I have suitable walls or ceilings, I bounce directly into them, and get great results.

Where I need a tool, is outdoors, or in environments where light does not bounce (black walls etc).

By the way, I found the bracket to connect a hotshoe flash, to a softbox speed ring. Im ordering a Photoflex AC-222SM. Its a little adjustable steel bracket, which holds the hotshoe, has a lightstand type spigot to go to my manfrotto flash bracket, and a threaded screw to mount the softbox.

Then I can use a extra small softbox, on my camera flash bracket

Agreed...but only if the product is actually as useful as it's marketing hype makes it out to be. I prefer a product to do most of it's own work selling itself; if it has to be soooooo over-hyped (as if it's a shuttle launch!) then I don't dig it!
