Anyone else interested? if so here is info i have received from David at Sun Studios, there will be 30 spots, each day will be different, and its only $95 :)

PORTRAIT MASTER CLASS WITH BRETT ODGERS

A continuation in a series of workshops by Brett, join him for a unique
day of portraiture.

Brett’s mission statement is to set a new level of professionalism in the
area of portraiture. Craftsmanship needs to be reinvigorated in our
profession, and all of the old school methodology is a powerful tool in
the professional photographers hands.

Brett has enjoyed a very successful career as an advertising and
commercial photographer, with clients from all over Australia and
throughout the Asia pacific region.

An advertising photographer that has transformed his business, Brett
has used the highly crafted techniques from his commercial work and
applied them to a more retail focussed portrait business.

Brett will share the story of this journey and some of the insights he
has gained. How a commercial and retail photography business can live
together in harmony and profitability. He will also be demonstrating some
of his lighting techniques, shooting procedures, workflow and photoshop
tricks that he uses in the portrait business.

i think it will be, i checked out the studios when they where just about finished and wow so impressive, 7 studios, a cafe, full in-house image production, carpark for about 60 cars, photography gear rentals now all in one place, pretty impressive lot they have

I have been there also. The AIPP had a tour night where some lady (I should remember her name she won the British Photog of the year!!!) also spoke.

Yep, very impressive studios. Their equipment room was amazing!!!

We will have to catch up on the day and have a chat.
