The Navy air museum is having an airshow on Sunday May 6, 2007.

Edit: Address is at the end of;
Albatross Road, Nowra NSW.

From the Princes Hwy, drive through Nowra and turn-off to teh right at the sign that says, HMAS Albatross.

There will be helicopters, old warbirds and apparently some mustangs too. The RAAF will have a presence with the roulettes.

Admission is about $15 I am led to believe.

I'll be there, as i live here at the airfield, unless i am somewhere else. :)

Just a quick/late reminder that the airshow is on tomorrow, 6th May.

I have been watching the aircraft arriving and practising today and the show looks like it will be pretty good.

Some of the aircraft at the airfield as i write.

Connie the Constellation
Gloster Meteor
Canberra bomber
P51 mustang
Winjeel
RAAF Roulettes.
Castrol (redbull) stuntplane - --->AMAZING AERO DISPLAY<---
Heaps of helicopters including a Vietnam Vintage Navy Huey
Some weird-ass seaplane
Three C-47s (DC-3)
A polished aluminium twin engined vintage aircraft. Looks really nice but i have no idea what it is.
PC-9
Some boring slow old bi-planes
RAAF F-18 (yeah, the blue one)

I'LL POST SOME IMAGES LATER. AFTER I STOP SHOUTING OVER THE NOISE.....bloody helicopters..

Would love to be there, but to many things to do.

I remember living at Albatross for a month, best mess hall I ever ate in!!

Can't wait to see the pics!

It's nice and quiet now too. The aeroplanes have all been put away.

I went on the sunday.. pretty good day all up. Didn't stick around inside the Musuem area for long, went across the other side of the airfield so everything wasn't backlit

Will post some photos later when I get through them all ;)

And oooooh yeah, the first pass of the F-18 was straight over my head on Sunday :D
