Bit of a stupid question but do we place a vote tag on every picture and then finally hit the vote button or are we limited in the number of votes?

you can assign a score for every image... and I encourage everyone to do so!

And I encourage competidors to give thier own image top marks (remember the prizes!)

That would be pretty silly

Nope... It is not a rank system... you dont have to say which picture is best nescasarly... you critique each image individualy on its own merits...

Further to my first question just so I have it fixed in my mind - do we hit the vote button after assigning a comment to one pic and then move onto the next and hit the vote button again - or do we assign comments to each photo and hit the vote button just once?

The only reason I ask is that I assigned a comment to each photo then went back to the first photo but it was no longer showing any comment - just <vote>!!

good stuff... i'm one of those people that clears out /tmp and all cookies via cron every hour... was worried that i'd have to remember my votes just incase i needed to change them

You select a score or scores then hit vote to register or change those scores

You have two vote buttons on each page. I presume one can vote using either button?

all I can say is that the scores between some pictures in the top 5 are VERY close...

some tidbits of info:
7 people think that the (currently) winning photo should be framed and sold
only 0.06 points separate third and fourth place!
18th and 19th are tied on 6.44 points



not long now until I know the result!

Although I was not organised enough to have entered a pic, I have voted.

I must say that I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the entries, given that the Challenge was slightly unusual (ie B&W).

In my view, there are some seriously good pix amongst the entries.

I am also stunned at the quality of the prizes being offered, thanks to our selfless Patron, Birddog, and others who have donated. There is a real spirit of friendship in this forum.
