how to check how many pix i've taken ???

how does one check the amount of photos that i have taken with my d70????

Go to http://www.opanda.com get their exif reader which also tells you shutter count

If you have your File No. Seq. turned ON (in the setup menu), then all you need to do is look at your filenames (eg. DSC_3000), unless you reach 9999, then I'm sure it would revert back to 0001 (but not 100% sure on that....I'm only in the 3000's :) )

Otherwise, you'll need an EXIF viewer (like Opanda - as suggested above)
