Hi,
This is the company I bought my Epson 3880 from. The price was good at $1855.00 and the purchasing on line was easy. They did not have it in stock. They called me to ask if I still wanted to go ahead with them. I said OK. On Thursday they called to say they had received the goods, I just had time to drive to Marrickville to pick it up, then the lady on the phone said that if I wanted she would deliver to my place as she lives a few Ks away. Now, that is service: free delivery and no M5 torture :D.
I only can recommend this company for your Epson needs.

I got a 3880 from them too, in December. Agreed, highly recommended.

Gerard
Can't wait to hear your opinion of the printer. Can you do a mini review?

It works well enough, no question about that, improved gamut from the 3800 and it also has a very small footprint, little bigger than an A3 printer. Given that you get a full set of inks with the purchase and running costs are likely to be lower, it's probably a better option than the R2880 even if you only intend to print A3+ (80ml cartridges vs 13ml). I have mine on a shelf in a wardrobe (converted bedroom). Vincent's already done a review on Photo-i and Keith Cooper will shortly be presenting a review on Northlight Images.

I'll do if you like. I'll take some pics to show the scale and so on. Give me a couple days.

I thought I'd do it before the weekend. I posted some more impressions and pictures in the "Equipment Review" section.
I am not much of a reviewer and not good at giving details   .

I've had mine for about four months now. I'd kind of forgotten that one of the reasons I got it was its reputation for monochrome. I produced three prints a few days ago and one was a mono. Most impressed with the depth and richness of the blacks.

One thing, Gerard, just in case you're not aware. You should turn it off when not in use and not leave it turned on. This allows the heads to park. Always leaving it turned on can significantly reduce the life of the printer.

Regards,
Murray

Thanks for that Murray, I left it on thinking it was better. :rotfl2:
