Cheap as Chips?

Postby Flash in the pan on Thu Jul 17, 2008 12:49 pm

I am tempted to buy a SanDisk Extreme III SDHC 4GB + Micromate Reader from Cheap as Chips? $52.90 (delivered)
This seems a good price. Has anyone dealt with them. Is this a good price?

Finally the Micromate Reader is bundled free with it and seems a really good item. Has anyone used them with success?

thanks

The reader is excellent - compact and has not failed me yet...

try here for better prices...use these as a gauge for your local stores...

 I got myself the 8GB version of that. Couldn't be happier. Reads fast on your computer too.

Don't skimp on those SD cards. I was using an A-Data SDHC :( only to realise once I got back home, my photos was corrupted and lost ~50 photos. Lucky I was only shooting nearby. I wouldn't want that to happen while I'm on holidays. Not worth the risk.

I bought a 4G CF Extreme III and 1G SD card and micro reader from them recently - I was very happy with pricing, product and communication.

They price matched on items and dropped postage to match competitors. Delivered next day!

cheers

Yeah, but Staticice seems to give much more focused results.

I've used C as C for 4 seperate purchases now, and have been very happy every time. Fast delivery, easy ordering, good prices and 2 free fantail lollies with my latest purchase.

I recommend them.

That is a deal clincher in my books!

I generally just use someone local to get the best price, but may have to look at C as C in future methinks...

I just looked up our dealer price for these. Some of those resellers must be running with little to no margin (or huge bulk pricing).
