Thanks to Leon, Manda, Gary and everyone who attended it was a great night.

No thanks to JoeT, Gary and Leigh for coming and bringing a D300 each, you buggers have just cost me money. I was very impressed with the D300, it exceeded my expectations. I probably didn't expect much really, but from a cursory glance the high iso performance was exceptional, not to speak of the much brighter and bigger viewfinder and much better AF. Live view was impressive too. I would buy it just for the high iso perfomance and will. Will have to contact Poon.

It was indeed a great evening and it was also great to meet (however briefly) a few of you who've I've not spoken to before - Emily, Tristan and Iluxa & Irina.

Thanks Gary, Leon and Amanda for the effort of putting together the xmas dinner. The food was excellent as was the wine. The company was even better. Thanks to those who attended their first such dinner, nice to see you there and hope to see you all more often. Well done gang!
