Congratulations to the winners, and a VERY well done to all entrants & participants.

Katie G - you have my admiration, I think you should win some sort of prize for artistic creation in the work you've put into setting up your entries. ;)

It was mentioned at the dinner how Glen donated the prize of a 2Gb CF card and won an 8Gb one. That's a good return on his investment! ;)

High praise indeed Liam - thanks. Enjoy your new camera body! I agree it was a bloody high standard and the challenge encouraged some very creative thinking.

A special mention must go to Leigh, whose prize was an eggcellent book. I won't mention the title here, as I'm sure someone shot a revealing candid of me perusing its contents 8)

Well done to all!

Congratulations to Liam, Simon,Marco, Patrick and Brad plus every single entrant. This Challenge had an extremely high standard of entries and I believe every single entrant was a winner. I know I was just from what I learnt about PP, I trust every other entrant learnt something about their own photography.

A huge thanks to Thanh, Leigh and Gary for donating prizes. Scott and the team as always did a great job adjudicating and organising.

Thanks to everyone for their involvement

First of all, congratulations to all of the entrants in this latest challenge. Might I say that there were no losers: I think that every entry was a winner, and certainly I would hope that every entrant, in preparing their image for this challenge, gained personally in that they will have better learned some small aspect of photography and thus added to their skillset.

That, after all, is what the primary purpose of these challenges is: to learn and improve your photographic skillset.

That said, this challenge carried with it some very valuable hardware, and in that rregard we are indebted to Birddog, Glen, and Leigh (nnnnsic) for their most generous donations of the prizes that were awarded to those images that were voted as being the best of, what was, a simply wonderful selection of images.
