Saw this on Attack of the Show yesterday and thought it might appeal to some of the less electronically challenged people out there...
Cheers, John

I built a sound activated flash unit 30 odd years ago for high speed work.

it triggers any flash gun that has an x sync connection on it.

Havent used it for years and years but we produced some amazing stuff with it, in our schools darkroom where we smashed lightbulbs, burst balloons shot apples with air guns etc etc.

The circuit came from electronics today international or some other defunct magazine, maybe I should look around for the circuit to save brutalising a camera!!

it's so technical, my head hurts
i think i read here that you can just download a patch for the sb800 firmware or buy some trinket on ebay to achieve this?

Oatley Electronics do a simple kit for this, it's only $19.

What's another word for "thesaurus"?
