triggering multiple cameras using a Cleon remote

Postby seeto.centric on Fri Jun 20, 2008 2:00 am

Hi everyone, my Cleon N8 remote set finally arrived today and i havent unboxed it yet but i noticed something on the box: "Use one remote to fire multiple cameras simultaneously by using multiple receivers on the same channel".

this sounds like a cheap Pocketwizard alternative if you want to trigger >1 camera at the same time =D
and im guessing the same can be done for other remote kits too (so long as they have user adjustable frequencies). mods, feel free to axe this thread if someone beat me to it :)

you can do bullet time with firing multiple cameras at once! :)

Oh we must try it someday!! Use my N1 and your N8 on the same channel and see if it works.

Maybe we should try it with more Cleon's, who has one? When is the next meet?

I tried already, the night I got it, but the Cleon knockoff wont trigger the N1 or vice versa, but I was hoping maybe the N1 and the N8 will trigger each other, fingers crossed they got lazy and used the same frequencies!

315MHz for the Cleon, 433MHz for the N1.. no chance mate.
wait... but then what do the dip switches change? frequency, right?
