What's wrong with Nikon?

Postby birddog114 on Tue Oct 25, 2005 3:31 pm

No D70s in stock (Maxwell) till early next month, and same as other parts of the world.

My backorder list is now long enough!

Or ready to roll out other DSLR body?

Who knows Birdy, perhaps the D200 is just around the corner? Be interesting to see, but it's sad that the D70s is not more readily available.

The backorder list started in September and it's now grown high.

Nikon may busy making other new bodies and forget the D70s :(

Oh how I wish I could birddog. I'm working all the figures and I'm down to selling the wife and kids. What gets me is that I'm thinking about doing it, just to get my paws on one!! Then again you never know what will happen. There is always hope.

Hopefully 2nd hand D70 prices will increase enough for us to trade them in for a D200, if and whenever they arrive

Well, I wonder if all this is affected by the Maxwell's product launch next week?

It doesn't.

Posting messages here will not get your product ordered. There's no guarantee, for instance, that Birddog will even see you message.

The ONLY way that you may place an order is by using the new ordering method, and your cooperation in observing those procedures is appreciated.

Not at all.

I'm simply commenting on the ordering process; I have no input nor information about any products, announced or otherwise, and the term "product" was used in its most generic sense.

Sorry guys, game, set and match!:)
