As asked in this thread ... Tips for shooting a Music Festival please

I shot a Music festival (well set of concerts really)

I have uploaded my best shots into a set in flickr. Not sure how this will go for the gallery thingy here.

Some excellent shots Russell thanks for sharing ,
I particularily like the smoke diffused light shots - blue / red/ violet , exposure looks spot on.
Love the way you have captured movement in the drummers hands, some great close up guitars and for some reason like the tombones. Great shideshow presentation just needed a soundtack to complete the experience

some good stuff there mate,

by the look of it you had some amazing lighting, iso400 1/200, i wish. i dont think i have ever shot a gig with lighting like that.

I know your pain all too well, Thommo. My golden numbers are 1600 and 1/100! I often even dream of 800 & 1/200..
