Two entries were disqualified, I will contact owners soon... Both were disqualified for leaving identifying copyright messages in EXIF...

Several users have recieved PMs asking about the PP steps taken, please respond to these promptly

That leaves 39 Stunning entries!

Seriously high standard of images this time around. It will be interesting to see what further developments occur for round 2.

And a quick note:
Not all images displayed may be eligible...

Images are yet to be screened for theme compliance which will be decided by the moderators. I'm sure you all understand that our decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into...

There are some fantastic images there and it's obvious members have really put in a lot of thought and work. Well done everyone!

Now... to come up with an idea that hasn't already been done.

I hope I'm not overstepping any boundaries in fessing up as one of the disqualified! I just wanted to tell people to check and double their entry..like I didn't! Completely forgot that I have "(c) Liam West 2006" set in my camera to tag each image! AHhhhhhh!

Got a very nice PM from Scott and in the end I'm not that bothered cos my image was along very similar lines to another entry.

Bring on round 2!

Liam,

Not at all, although I will state that the only person who has knowledge of the entries and their respective entrants is Scott, and he won't be revealing any of this information until the end.

That said, and as Scott has alluded to above, there are a few more entries for which the eligibility in terms of theme compliance is being discussed by the mods, and it's likely that a few more images will be disqualified.

We will be letting everyone know why we felt it necessary to exclude these entries - so that others do not make a similar mistake - but we will not at this time be identifying the entrants who submitted those images.
