How to start your camera collection

Postby ozimax on Fri Feb 28, 2014 8:03 am

This is the opportunity of a lifetime for all avid would-be photogs. A swath of Fuji engineering excellence; the luxury of air travel and highlights galore, all for just ..... 72,000 quid (134,000 AUD). Get in fast as this opportunity is too good to last. And to top it all off, your travelling companions might include a real live sheik, Bill Gates and some unknown iPhone app developers from Melbourne.

I guess you start buying a camera with a lens, the another camera with a different lens, and another camera with a different lens, and another camera with a different lens, and another camera with a different lens, and another camera with a different lens, and another camera with a different lens...Then you discover you just needed the lenses because all of them fit in the first body... But, by then you have a nice collection of cameras of the same brand and model each with a different lens. Alternatively you just can make a 72,000 quid donation ...

Well I have been to three oft he locations. Not got anywhere near GBP75,000 yet. I am either doing something wrong or one of the other seven costs a LOT.

Photogenicity, (my descriptor), depends more on the quality of the light then the vista visited.
