I shall temper my impatience :lol:

I'm going to be interested to see that content aware fill at 100%. Sure it looks like magic in a youtube vido, but I've some hideous stitching jobs that look great when shrunk down to 800px on the long side.

It's impressive and useful but not quite the panacea the videos portray.

I've had some good results with using the content aware fill, however if I try to fill the edges of a pano I get an insufficient RAM warning - I have 4 gig. Might have to upgrade!

You're not the only one with that problem. I've got the same issue, as do many other users. Adobe are apparently looking into it.
Turning off OpenGL in the Performance panel has solved the problem for some. It didn't for me. My video card is supported too, so that's not the issue.
I've tried all sorts of things and nothing works. I'll just have to wait for an update.

Content aware fill is amazing, although i think the features most people will love will be the noise removal in CR and the refine edge selection tool. You can select tricky things like hair so easily!

Thanks for that. It didn't work for me either. Bummer, I was really keen to try the pano fill bit!

Well, here's a quick and dirty play with the Content Aware Fill..

This is the original;

Image

I know .. simple to crop the image slightly .. but this was more fun!

So, used the quick selection tool to choose the rope, expanded the size slightly and chose the content aware fill..

And here's a crop of the section...

Not 100% perfect ... but this was maybe 2 minutes of work, most of which was working out where the tool was hiding!
