Lightroom or RawShooter Premium?

Postby JeffGlue on Wed Oct 03, 2007 7:06 pm

I read that the RawShooter Premium produces a lot less noise than Abobe Lightroom. I know Adobe has now taken over RSP, does anyone have any opinions on whether an older version of RSP would be better than newer Lightroom software (since the take over)?

Thanks.

I had a play with both and didn't like either.

If you shoot Nikon, you might want to trial CaptureNX: http://nikonasia-en.custhelp.com/cgi-bi ... aqid=162#3

You can upgrade the trial from 1.1 to 1.2.

The older version is very good but only works with the Nikon D70. Later versions of the camera (D200) are not read by the program.

Photoshop comes with Adobe Camera Raw. I'm not sure of the exact version but it was updated only a few weeks ago.

VK4CP,

That photo is taken just around the corner from my place. I live just behind the showground at Rocklea. I take it you had a commercial shoot to advertise the vacant lot for lease?

Cheers
