PS CS2 "Save As" annoyance

Postby Yi-P on Sun Feb 11, 2007 1:37 pm

I converted the RAW file into JPEG in NC4, then I want to use CS2's batch process to resize these images down by 40%. Each time it saves the image from the original JPEG output from NC4 it asks for the JPEG quality:

This is annoying specially if I need to batch 680+ JPG in a go

Do anyone know how can I override this and let photoshop get on a default "high" quality setting?

This will work:

1. Open Adobe Bridge (in you're in PSCS2, File - Browse will open Bridge)

2. Once in Bridge, do the following:

(i) Select your folder

(ii) Select the images you want to process

(iii) Tools - Photoshop - Image Processor = This will take you back to Photoshop, but with a screen appearing in which you:

- Select the images to process, ticking the box if you want to open 1 first
- Select the folder you want to save the files into
- Select the file type you want the images saved as, eg: JPEG, and there are a couple of other options there if you want to select them. THIS is where you will set the Quality, which will be set to all the images
- Any additional preferences if you want them applied at the same time

3. When you're all set, just click on RUN in the top right corner and off you go.

Hope this helps.
