Have you tried clicking on the printer icon in the "Adobe Help Center"?

yeah i went to the help section and did a search and I got a definitive NO to my question

"Guides appear as lines that float over the entire image and do not print. You can move, remove, or lock a guide to avoid accidentally moving it."

I suppose I could always take a screenshot and print that.

If you need the guides why not draw a thin black line along each guide and then print?

What sort of guides do you have?

This might be irrelevant to you (or you may already know) that in the Print with Preview dialog, under Output, you can select different markings, border and bleed.

Otherwise your idea of screenshot and printing that should work - at least it will show your guides :)

.......now I know what you mean.......with an image open, go to ......

View>click rulers..... you now have rulers top and left side of your image

click inside the ruler and with your mouse held down move into the picture area...... you now have a coloured guide

add as many as you like from the top and side....... line up on the rulers and in view click snap to guides......

The above is for setting up an image to a set sizs within a size......

Printing guides are set by the driver I think but anyway.......go File>Print with preview> page setup........ I am on mac and do not know how the windoze window comes up, but have a look at the different settings........ on the mac in page setup I open format for and pick the printer I want to use, ie: no margins, roll paper, etc......

hope this helps

but to print so that those coloured guides added come up in the final print... that's what you want right?
