Saturday arrivals for AW

Postby gstark on Fri Jul 29, 2005 8:34 am

Could all of interstate people coming here for the AW please respond to this thread with their arrival time and date.

This is particularly important for those arriving on Saturday morning, so that we can arrange to get you from the airport to your first event, and as necessary deal with your luggage as well.

Apart from breakfast, our first events are kicking off at around 9 am on the Saturday morning ....

9am after the first dinner? Okay.. but I think you're being a bit optomistic :) ( god, I can't even spell it )

I arrive 7:30 or so on friday.. I'm pretty sure birddy said he would pick me up :)

p.s. You said all peoples arriving from interstate should post, so I shouldn't look stupid for posting in the thread with Saturday in the title, right?

No, not at all. It's just that it's a tad more critical for the Saturday morning arrivals.

Greg, will you be needing a ride to/from your Friday night lodgings?

Thanks Gary, I can probably get a left jab. If there is a car coming through the city that would be great, but you guys have enough running around to do, I don't need a special trip to pick me up.

I'll keep you in mind then. I travel through the city coming from work back to home, but I have no idea of how our personal logisitics are going to work through the weekend, given that Lindy lives on the northside, I'm in the east, and the restaurants are in the south. :)

Hi Gary,

I'm not coming from interstate, but I could go and pick up someone at the airport, early Saturday morning. The best would be someone that is going to the Blackwattle Bay event since that's where I'll be. It would also be easy for me to drop somebody off at Centennial Park. I can plan to be at the airport for 8am on Saturday morning.

For anyone that is interested in the offer, still go via Gary since he is making sure everybody arrives to their proper destination.

Cheers,

André

The wife and I will arrive Sydney at 12.40pm on Friday.

We will just jump a train. We are staying with a friend at Mortdale which is on a train line somewhere.

Mortdale to the restaurant at Hurstville on Friday evening is not too far.
And will be a short distance to the Restaurant on Saturday evening at Enfield.

Hi kipper,
If you haven't book your flight yet and it could be expensive by now, provided they still have available seat for you on the flight you want.

I am arriving Friday afternoon and have transport arranged but was seeing family that evening. I will try to get transport Saturday morning and make my way to Birddogs and the events there. Is it too late to claim a spot in MattK's Photoshop session?
