Birddog114,

Saturday regular mini meet is from 8:00am -12:00pm

It might be best to say from 8:00am to noon, rather than 12:00pm (midnight).

Cheers,

Birdy, I have a couple of quick things to do early, but I'll be there about 10am and MCWB if your reading this, I'll take you up on your generous offer re the loan of the spyder.

Cool, I have to be in and out of uni relatively constantly around then, but if I can't be there from 10-12 I'll leave the Spyder2 there for you to collect. :)

In terms of deciding between having lunch with them or Birddog, it's truly a no-brainer. Birddog wins by a country mile, plus daylight.

Thanks yet again to birddog and his delightful wife for another great meet and for the very yummy pizzas and soft drink.

As usual it was nice to catch up with both old and new faces and also to share a little of the lens lust around

Thanks also to Geoff for the world's biggest croissants and to Chryssine for the fantastic Greek shortbreads (yumm - having a stolen one right now!)

This was my first minimeet - I had no idea Sydney photographers were so good looking  Thanks to everyone for making me so welcome, and thanks to Birddgog for your hospitality - and I promise to bring more $100 notes next time!

Meeting Report for Onyx - 28 May

Postby joet on Fri Jun 03, 2005 6:57 pm

Roll Call

gleff, Frankenstein, stubbsy, spada, wendell, killakoala, paul, geoff, gstark, nnnnsic, rick, johndec, mattk, MCWB, joet

A short one because Birddog had to go North (as he follows the Winter bird migration, I guess  ), but certainly full of many and varied moments of interest.

As highlighted elsewhere, Gary exhibited his latest acquisition (mercredi :?: , merde :?:   or something... gott in dammerung, I never could get those German girls names  8) )

Wendell confused himself by asking intelligent questions about the best lens to buy and got different answers from everyone present :!: :!:

Peter Stubbs maintained the group's high spending level by investing in more hot hardware.

Mattk did even more great work demonstrating CCD cleaning and basic PS techniques.

......in short, just like this mini-meet, small, but beautifully marked

Onyx, you just should have been there :!: .... and so should all you other people who have yet to grace us with your presence.... you won't be sorry. :D
Regards

Joe
