When you talk to the organiser - can you ask what she intends to do for those where she DOESN'T receive a form. Reason I ask is that I haven't received an email (or it got killed as spam) so can't send one in  . Others may be the same.

There were some technical problems in the emails, so I will onsend the details from my email, to each in the EOI.

If you completed the EOI in the online site, then we have your EOI, and I have sent them in batch, on behalf of all of us here. Thus, no further action is required from our members other than to get out, and enjoy your captures, and upload them ready for the printing deadline.

If you have missed the EOI, please PM me, and we may be able to get in a few late enties, Sep 22 ABSOLUTE latest (provided we can still get your image printed and mounted in time).

Message is, if in doubt, PM me.

GREAT work so far, inspiring to get my new 85 out tomorrow afternoon...

Oz
the email from the organiser contained an attached word document with a form to be signed (copy below).

To me, it would seem that you would need a hard copy of this form for the signature. Or will you be able to sign as a proxy for each contributor.

Thanks
Craig :D

The organisers are happy for me to print the form on your behalf, as a label for the mounted prints, signatures from members of DSLRUSERS are not required, on the proviso that the terms are agreed to.

So I'm guessing the form side is all done now Oz. Or do you need something from each of us agreeing to the terms (eg an email) BTW Thank you for putting in what must be a lot of effort in getting this happening.

Bruce,

Go with the Police one. The other one was shot at a very high ISO, and the noise, I think, would spoil the image as a print.

I'm cutting it close, but I'll upload my image this afternoon when I get home from work.

A quick question, is it OK to have our name on the photo ?
I was going to have my name faintly written at the bottom left as shown HERE

Also a n00b question re: print size seeing as I haven't actually printed any of my shots yet!

If I resize the image to 25x30 cm I end up with a small image that would look very grubby when printed to that size. Should I just leave the photo in its full resolution ( ~2100x1700) or is there something else I should be doing ?

Cheers Jay

I'll have my photo in within the next couple of hours - sorry :(

My laptop had a serious hd issue today, and wouldn't boot up -not even in safe mode :( :( (All I can say is Norton is a joke !!!!!!!) Had a quick trip to the computer guys, and it will be ready to pick up in about 1 hour - the photo is on the laptop (I'm writing this on my other half's stand alone pc) ....

As soon as I get my ltop back, I'll be uploading :)

Well, a few people have seen a few different things, ie:

- an evil face on the left, looking towards the right

- a nude figure on the right, showing hip & bottom

- a nude figure on the right, showing breast, hip & bottom

- a surgery scar on the right

I personally see the face & the hip & bottom curve, but it's interesting what others see.

Maybe you don't see anything? If nothing else, surely a beautiful pattern in the paperbark itself?
