Lowepro Topload Zoom AW 75

Postby foonji on Tue Sep 18, 2007 1:22 am

im thinkin of getting a Lowepro Topload Zoom AW 75 to add to my webbing, but if anyone that has one could help me out here, i was wondering how well they fit a dslr with grip and a 70-200 2.8 w/ hood ? i've read the specs that say they do, but just want a user opinion..

also can anyone tell me how big the belt loop is...? will it fit a 50mm belt thru it?

any feedback would be appreciated...

I dont have a 70-200 f2.8, but I can fit my 80-320 f5.6 without hood and my sigma 18-125 underneith under a velcro'd flap and Ive still got room to fit my Sigma EF500 Super flash down 1 side. I dont have a grip, but I thin it would still fit. I can also fit my Tokina 150-500 f5.6 by its self (just)
I can fit my hand through the belt loop, I think youve got about 130mm to play with.

Whats the measurements of your DSLR-70-200 combined and I'll check it out further for you

I just put a tape inside the base. You've got 11cm x 10cm at the bottom and 18cm x 15cm at the top.
My 150-500mm is 33cm long (no body) and it bulges the top when I zip it (no body)
I fit my flash 6x 10cm down side with DSLR body 13x 10cm comfortably, so there is plenty of room across the top for me.

I can also confirm it's huge!

My D2Xs and 80-400VR attached (hood reversed) fits with room to spare.

Your questions may be answered but thought I'd add that I've got the AW 70 and wish it was slightly larger. I dont have any f2.8 lenses but with my Canon 10-22 on the body thers only roon for my 50mm, I'd like to be able to fit my 100m macro,

I might also have a brand new one - only ever unpacked - for sale?

Just need to decide if I do want to hoard it or not, seeing as I now have a Tamrac backpack and Crumpler $3m home....
