I think I have been in the presence of Royalty

Postby Deano on Wed Nov 03, 2004 7:23 pm

I think I was just in the company of the world famous, internationaly renound Mr Poon.

I was doing some shopping for Birddog and went to Photo Scientific in Stanley Street Central, where I have previously spent lots of money. The gentleman there is always very nice and gives great customer service. I got his business card with the pricing details on and he wrote his name Poon on the front.

I'm all giddy with excitement.

Does that make me famous now too? 8)

Cheers

I'd say it would. Question I have is how come you missed the photo op moment. A pic of poon so to speak would have put you into star class.

Damn! I need a more portable camera - I didn't have the D70 with me.

If Birddog does the deal I'll get a pic of me and Mr Poon for the D70Users hall of infamy.

Get a camera-phone: it's the autograph of the 21 century. :D

I got an email back from Mr Poon regarding a purchase inquiry, he even addressed me by name! Should I print this out and frame it up? ;)
