Hi All,

A colleague of mine is looking to buy a Canon 550D twin lens kit and would like to know if anyone has any experience dealing with these guys in Sydney

http://www.paxtons.com.au/

Thanks in advance for your help.

Cheers
Mak

Very much another decent camera dealer. The one in Wynyard works very hard to be competitive...so bring in a quote or two from both grey and australian stock (DigitalCameraWarehouse, DigiDirect etc). Service can be patchy at times...but def worth visiting

Thanks for the reply mate. Good to hear about Paxton. My mate's picking up a Canon 550D twin lens kit... another canon user

Cheers
Mak

Hey!

Paxtons is quite a nice place to visit in terms of finding what your after, print wise, i tend to like the Kodak system that they use, rather than fuji ( i know, i'm backwards).

In terms of service, i have quite a few complaints about it, make sure you know what youre after and what youre after suits you, i've personally had quite a fair bit of bad experience with the Parramatta one to be precise. They tend to BS sometimes. ( not sure who served me).

All in all, the company itself is quite good. VERY competitive if you can haggle well, and they also provide really good feedback in terms of calling you back and negotiating over the phone, floor service is where the pain starts.

and YAY for the 550D =) great camera for what it is. =D funnily enough, me and Aim54x have played with them lovingly and they are an absolute charmer =D

GOOD LUCK FOR YOUR MATE =D
