I justify it with my Canada trip, I would rather have a d200 + the pics from canada than a d200s or a cheaper d200...

Scott, enjoy the new toy mate and yes not a bad camera as i have bought 2 of them in the last couple of months from Poon and yeh with the grip not a lot of differance than my D2X in size but yes i am sure you will enjoy it.
We expect to see some nice shots.LOL
