company RRS charged me twice

AU$1639
for one BH55pro ballhead
and one BD70L plate

overcharged $820

i have emailed them asking for them to refund the AU$820 error, i will wait for a reply.

i have heard good things about this company
and this may just be a mistake
but even so it is very inconvienient to me to have to
wait for the refund to process while my available funds
have been lowered by this amount

I and many members on this site never ever having problems with RRS, they did charges and billed correctly, no bad experiences with them in the past 5 years.

Sorry to hear that but it can happen with any company.

A little trick I use: I have an account that just happens to have the amount of a purchase +10% - If anyone tries to overcharge or double charge me the sale does not go through or they contact me.

sale is now ok, everything is as it should have been

sirhc55 if you can change the credit limit online or by phone that could be good, though if i had to go into the bank each time it would turn into a huge hassle

You don't need to change the credit limit.
Just have enough money into that charge card and they can't overcharge you.
