Newcastle Hillclimb 50th anniversaryThe King Edward Park Newcastle hillclimb will be holding its 50th annual hillclimb on 20 and 21 October 2007.

I think the NSW Championship is doubling up that weekend for the final round of their series.
Looks like a fantastic track! 2x D700, 2x D2h, lenses, speedlights, studio, pelican cases, tripods, monopods, patridges, pear trees etc etc

It is indeed. It can be pretty steep at times but lots of good vantage points, great ocean views. A friend of mine videoed the event a few years back, there were some great cars participating then as I'm sure there will be this year. It's the weekend of Indy up here. But I'll be looking after the boy The 2nd - 4th is the Australian Hillclimb Championships at the Mt Cotton facility. Should be a great weekend!
