So who’s going to be spending the night at work?

Postby Mal on Mon Jan 22, 2007 3:02 pm

First day back at work and it looks like I will be sleeping the night here. The fires that have closed the F3, Pacific Hwy and railway have meant that anyone who lives north of Hornsby is stuck.
So maybe this is the time I have been wanting to catch up on what has been going on at DSLRusers.
Anyone else looking stuck tonight?

I've got a camera, it's black. I've got some lens, they are black as well.

I know two friends of mine who are tuck with the fire as well, I'm glad you're safe there. :)

:) When you own your own business you can pay yourself what ever you want :)
I am glad I am not stuck in a car on the F3 or highway like some of the poor buggers I can see.

The rail line has just re-opened! So as long as there is not too much smoke coming across the freeway they may open it. Fingers Crossed.

The Pacific Hwy is now open and the F3 from Berowra. I am guessing it will be a slow trip.

I live in Hornsby and would say that anyone trying to go through the Old Pacific Highway to be prepared for a VERY long journey!
It took me 20 mins from the F3 turn off to get to Hornsby.. :(
Good luck to those traveling North, if your stuck we've a spare bed already made up if anyone needs it. :)

Home now :) :) :)
Many thanks to the RFS and Fire Brigade for getting the blaze under control and allowing us "Berowra Bushies" to get home.
