It was a bloody awesome day, it was great shooting, great company and a day full of plenty of entertainment and commaradery. Thanks to Stubbsy for organising it and thanks to everyone that turned up, great to meet a few members I hadn't had the pleasure to meet before (sorry I didn't get to say good bye to a few). I'm fairly happy with a few of my shots (might post some soon), I'm looking forward to everyones elses shots and Geoff my D200 lust has never been greater, it's an awesome machine. (How did the batteries go ?)

Well I'd love to show you some shots, but after our el cheapo card reader corrupted some images, we're down to transfering from the camera (gasp). At the moment there's 28 minutes left on the first card, the another 30 minutes or so for the second, and that's just to look at the RAW files.

Thanks everyone for a great day, very nice to meet you all and I hope you're all happy with your shots :D

I hope the images are recoverable... If you need to Patrick check the forum plenty of links to software that could help. Good luck with the camera transfer... USB 2 feels so much faster when you are forced not to use it ;-)

The images that were corrupted were just a few from the aquarium the other day. Nothing special, thankfully. But now we are afraid to use the card reader again...

Pat is starting to look at our raw files and I think he's sold on the fisheye.

I enjoyed the fisheye, but for me the environment didn't suit it's use. Somewhere tight, like the catherdral etc would be awesome, but where I was using it, the result didn't impress me as much. Certainly keen to see your FE test shots.

I'm jealous... I was sitting in various "crisis" meetings today, staring out of the window, thinking "I'd rather be taking photos"...

I hope you all had a good time... Looking forward to seeing some of the (i'm sure) unique shots...
