MMM02 - Mr DarcyI was beginning to think I wouldn't have time to enter my own comp, but thanks to the wet weather, I made it.
Theme 1: …Reflections. I didn't expect this to be as difficult as I found it. Tried out a variety of concepts. This was the only one that even halfway worked for me. Theme 2: …Emotion I could almost enter this as all four categories, but I am in enough trouble from my model as it is without calling her a Kitchen Utensil Theme 3: …Kitchen Utensil. An old pepper grinder that has been in the family over 40 years. It has been used daily all that time & still works well. A brand I recommend. Theme 4: …Animal A is for... All bloody excellent! Your photography is getting better by leaps and bounds! By the way....what brand is that old pepper grinder? Regards

Re: MMM02 - Mr DarcyGreg,
Point of order ... is a pepper grinder really a kitchen utensil? I'm thinking that it's typically used in a dining situation, rather than a kitchen. That said, who cares? Love the image: great PoV for the shot, great use of perspective, great composition, great exposure .... hmmm alll those greats ... should we call this a pepper grater? g.

Re: MMM02 - Mr Darcy
I use this one in the kitchen. I have another two (same brand ) that see dining table duty, and another one that lives with the camping gear.
Marlux. I have been though a number of other brands as well. None lasted more than a year or two. I also have one of their salt grinders. About 15 YO & still going strong. The camping one is Peugeot. I changed brands because I wanted a really small one for backpacking, and longevity was less of an issue as it doesn't get used so much. So far it's holding up though. Greg

Do you cook? Surely you dont just throw the peppercorns in the pot whole everytime? Of course its a kitchen utensil! I like number two as well. But the aphids are pretty good too. Shame about the roses...
