Great stuff but am wondering does it support RAW format as NEF

Epson would probably be foolish not to.

The original Epson P1000 released earlier this year supports JPEG (Exif2.1 and 2.2) plus RAW for select digital SLRs - one would imagine that Nikon would be one of those supported.

I would also assume that the new model would do likewise - the UK price on this unit is around the £350 mark so here it will probably sell towards the $1000 mark in line with ARCOS
