Memory Cards

Just reading through some new posts and noticed Gary recommend a member to buy extra memory cards.
I have 2 x D300 bodies and run 1 x 16Gb CF Memory card and 2 x 8Gb CF Cards all purchased from Memoryman on Ebay very very cheap. I can't comment on performance because I don't have any others but I frequently shoot continuous high speed with Compressed Raw + fine JPG and they appear to cope exceptionally well. Memoryman seems to aim his offerings at specific continents eg. product & freight in euros quoted, or British pounds or US dollars. Decide what you want and then trawl all the way through his listings with a currency converter at hand (http://www.xe.com) and work out your cheapest option. I've bought two cards from the US and one from Europe from this vendor. I have access to memory cards wholesale locally but can't beat Memoryman.

Anyone considering this should reviw other topics on this seller on this forum, there have been mixed reports.

I have no personal experience, and prefer to source my Sandisk Extreme CF cards from qulaity AU stores as I really don't want to lose a batch.

I'm with buying off trusted local retailers! I love my SanDisk Extreme cards and there are just too many fakes around to feel secure buying them online.
