Thanks Adam for the review - I've been looking to get a 32bit CF cardreader for a while (and in particular, this lexar one!).
I would like to know how the speed compares to a firewire or USB2.0 card reader. I looked at the Rob Galbraith CF card to computer speed tests - the closest thing they've got to this on there is the Delkin version. Was the speed limited by the card or the reader?
I like this as it's compact and fits in the laptop well

Thanks for the review - I've had a basic Kingston cf/pcmcia adapter for years (it's only a connector adapter really) and it's very slow - when i first got it, along with my A$200(!) 32 meg CF card from Pantip Plaza in Bangkok, it was fast enough, but it seems a bit slow now!

It might be time to upgrade.
