New 1700mm F4 from Zeiss

Postby horstflotow on Wed Oct 04, 2006 12:13 am

Just noticed this new lens from Zeiss (who are releasing a number of lenses in Nikon mounts)

I wonder if and when they're going to make this with a Nikon mount (and a Humvee mount to drive it around to suitable locations)

Wow, it must be a good lens, it has 2 threads devoted to it ;)

I think I'd rather carry my 1030mm f/4.1 telescope around...I can do that without needing big Arnie to help me lift it ;)

The Minitrekker 200 AW is looking woefully inadequate.
