Photographer:
Andrea Zubani
The street is where most of my images are generated. SIdni is a series which I've been working on for the past year, once a week, me and my camera; black and white, light and shadow, the city and its people. These images are my visual diary, they are not staged or created artificially. Reality is interesting enough. 'SIdni' is a collection of 43 black & white photographs shot on film with a old Nikon FM2. Andrea Zubani is an emerging photographer based in Sydney. A finalist of the Head On Portrait Prize in 2009, Andrea's photography distills human existence into a imaginative yet digestible visual dialogue. 'SIdni' is Andrea's third exhibition this year. In May, his first ever show 'Shortfolio', was a collection of black & white and color photographs, featured as part of the 'Head On Photo Festival'. In August he exhibited the first draft of the 'SIdni' series during the'Filetto Progetto Arte' in Tuscany, Italy.

Shouldn't it be "Sidini" ?? :)

Bondi Pavilion? Could be a worthwhile trip ... except on a hot summer day.
