3rd fisheye is spectacular Cameron! I am glad that you guys had friendly weather.

Them multicoloured SOH is quite intriguing... I am sure someone has explained this before but, What's with the light beams going straight up from SOH??

Thanks Surenj...

those beams of lights are from the projectors that are used to light the sails

Looks like the weather improved :o
I left home @ 3.30 en route to the city via Victoria Road and during the trip to the city the sky became gradually darker and drops of rain got closer and closer together so called it quits and exited the city via the hbr.
You guys did well ...some excellent shots ...will need to visit on a fine night during the next fortnight. Did the sunrise meet happen?

Interesting, we had rain predicted for most of the weekend in Newcastle and that hasn't eventuated so far... Although might happen soon by the looks of it. Even managed to squeeze-in a sunrise shoot this morning!

Thanks Matt K.

Gerry, your shot of the arch works so well!!! Maybe fisheye was not needed. You could have straightened out that cathedral though.

yeah dunno, but, i am pretty sure its to do with the light projector, some had nice crisp projections then others looked a bit soft in areas...or..maybe my lens is half outta focus.. :rotfl2:

A lot of them were dynamic as well, so could be that the projection was changing during the image?

Plenty of good images there guys, well done Cam getting the multi-coloured opera house - I didn't even see that one get projected!

I like both takes on the blue arches as well.
