Due Date for posting photos: COB Thursday 26th April. (Maybe a bit longer ... this hasn't yet been explored)

One image only per person.

Rats! Since you've used my suggestion for the name of this event, I suppose I'll have to participate now :!:
Should there be a leeway of, say, +/- 5 or 10 minutes each side of midday, just to allow a bit of time to capture a range of shots?

It is not restricted to DSLR cameras only right?

Think this is an excellant social exercise, and pledge commitement to same, but wish I could upload the original thread to consider the options.

No worries.

That wiull probably be because you're crossing domain boundaries. The links I gave were to the .com domain; I'll bet that you use the .net domain, and therefore using the provided link caused you to be in a logged-out state at the target link.

Happens to me all the time. Just change the link target before you go there, and all will be well.
